The most simple stuffing to your Thanksgiving turkey is very easy and scrumptious that it is tempting to rely on it 12 months after year. Just saut a few chopped onions and celery (butter is yummy however olive oil is fine) season with salt, pepper and sage and blend all of it up with some stale bread minimize into cubes. Add some turkey or hen broth and you might be good to go.
But in case you are feeling actually ambitious, you may want to check out these recipes from students at L.A. Trade Technical College's Culinary Arts program. The students used the recipes in a contemporary stuffing cook-off. Despite their difficult ingredients, they call for bins of prepared stuffing mix, one thing more experienced chefs might come to a decision to do without.
Laurie Worthy of Los Angeles took home the top prize, including $100 and bragging rights, together with her stuffing cupcakes. The 2nd place prize went to Camille Carlos of Alhambra and third position went to Marcus Beniger of Los Angeles.
